About Infinity Park
A decade ago, Glendale’s leaders developed a bold plan:
The future of the city would be built around the sport of rugby.
At the time, rugby was one of the best sporting secrets in the United States. Today, the secret is out. More than 1 million Americans play the game, and even more follow it. Infinity Park is Colorado’s rugby epicenter and a premier setting for rugby in the country showcasing the top-ranked Glendale Raptors Rugby Football Club. Each year, teams from around the world travel to play in the state-of-the-art, 4,000 seat stadium. The stadium anchors the larger Infinity Park complex, consisting of an event center, a sports center, and plenty of open space.
The Glendale Raptors, consisting of men’s and women’s teams and a youth rugby academy, are the championship-winning rugby football club that calls Infinity Park home. Established in 2007, the teams travel throughout the country, playing rugby at the highest level.
The Infinity Park Event Center is a world-class facility in the heart of Glendale. Along with unique spaces and a central location, the Event Center staff’s deep event experience and production capabilities ensures that each vision becomes an unforgettable experience.
Glendale Sports Center is a centerpiece of a healthy Glendale. A community-oriented gym, it delivers value through its unique combination of convenience and affordability. This is not your average gym.
The vision for Infinity Park goes beyond rugby. It’s about the attitude and character that gives Glendale its identity. It’s about teamwork, grit, and celebration, all of which bring the community together. We call it RugbyTown USA.
Every August, high-caliber rugby teams from around the world travel to Glendale to participate in the RugbyTown 7s tournament. Teams play Rugby 7s, a quicker variation of traditional 15-a-side rugby union, for $10,000 winner-take-all purse.
Every summer, Infinity Park opens welcomes families and friends to sit under the stars and watch movies on the stadium’s jumbo screen, free of charge. The series began in 2007 and is becoming a rich tradition for the Glendale community.
