At Infinity Park

The home for small college rugby in America.

Since 2002, the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) has been at the forefront of fostering and developing small college rugby programs in the United States. NSCRO is comprised of more than 250 men’s and 140 women’s colleges and universities who participate in more than 30 leagues as part of NSCRO’s national playoff systems. We have five different playoffs that provide teams the opportunity to compete on a national level and showcase their abilities to a broader and larger audience. Our National Championships are held at the finest rugby facilities in the country including: Infinity Park (Glendale, CO), Founders Field (Pittsburgh, PA), Life university (Atlanta, GA) and Talen Energy Stadium (Philadelphia, PA). NSCRO live streams all of its National Championship events allowing fans from all around the world a chance to experience the action. In 2015, more than 50,000 fans from over 100 countries watched the Men’s Championship from Infinity Park. At our Men’s 7s National Championship, the final is played in front of nearly 10,000 fans in Talen Energy Stadium.

NSCRO helps teams develop, grow and gain recognition outside of their conference or union while also giving them a chance at a national title and national ranking.

By legitimizing small college rugby, NSCRO has allowed colleges/universities to increase their visibility and student enrollment. This has also led to increased team participation (e.g., more players, more staff/trainers, and dedicated coaches), increased school support and encouraged alumni to get more involved. NSCRO has assisted several men’s and women’s players in getting recognition and opportunities to participate in USA Rugby’s High Performance camps, which has led some to All-American honors and higher level playing opportunities.

The increased popularity of rugby in the U.S. has given NSCRO the unique opportunity to partner with several companies who share our enthusiasm and dedication to collegiate rugby. This has allowed our organization to expand and hire key individuals to better support the growing needs of our members.

NSCRO is a partner of USA Rugby as we serve its members with needed services.

NSCRO understands the importance of collegiate rugby in developing today’s student-athletes into tomorrow’s leaders. Our Leadership Development Program has been created to provide student-athletes ways to better serve their respective team, college/university and community.

NSCRO will continue developing programs and policies to meet the needs of small colleges as well as provide guidance, resources and support to our growing collegiate rugby community.

NSCRO is the “Home of Small College Rugby in America.”
